CADD Interface

ISIS utilizes Autodesk Map's ability to associate (link) data in a Microsoft Access database to objects in a CADD drawing.

Once the linkage is established properties of the CADD drawing (for example the area of a polyline) can be exported to associated records/fields in the database. And specific text in the database can be automatically generated in the CADD drawing (ex. Room Tags).

This bi-directional exchange results in the drawings and the database reconsiling 100%. The result is very high quality data, both CADD and database.

ISIS comes with 2 toolbars to guide the user through the process of preparing the CADD drawing

and for linking the drawings to the data and bi-directional exchange data.
